Thessaly: Clothing for Women Building a Cleaner Lifestyle

Thessaly was created out of a desire to return to what is simple, honest and real - even in what we wear. Modern textile manufacturing can involved thousands of chemical inputs, from dyes to finishes to treatments. We created Thessaly to offer a simpler, healthier alternative. We focus on organic, natural fibers, non-toxic AZO-free dyes and modest comfortable clothing designed for every day life. And, we guaranteed that very piece is made in OEKO-TEX certified factories and are ethically made.

  • Breathable, Skin-Friendly Fabrics

Our skin quickly absorbs what's on it. So we focus on organic fabrics that aren't covered in nasty pesticide chemicals. And natural fabrics that aren't full of synthentics and actually resonates with our bodies with the correct frequencies.

  • Toxin-Aware Dyes & Finishes

This means less irritation and no endocrine disruptors. They're gentle for your hormones, health and your skin. All while still providing excellent color and consistency. Azo-Free dyes are also safe for the workers, contain no carcinogenic amines, and are eco-friendly.

  • Global Organic Textile Standard Certified

This certification ensures this is cotton grown and processed according to strict environmental and social criteria, covering the entire supply chain from farm to finished product, ensuring it's free from GMOs, harmful chemicals (pesticides/fertilizers), and adheres to fair labor practices.

  • OEKO-TEX Certified Factories

This is a globally recognized, independent certification for textiles, ensuring products are tested and free from harmful levels of over 100 toxic substances, covering everything from raw materials to finished goods.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this a pre-order?

Yes. The Eden Collection is currently available as a limited pre-order, which means pieces are made after the ordering window closes rather than stocked in bulk.

Q: When will my pre-order ship?

A: Production takes approximately 8-10 weeks and freight is 30 days. Production will begin once pre-order closes. We thank you for your patience with our first launch! You'll receive transparent updates throughout production.

Q: Why are you using pre-orders?

We produce in small batches based on demand to reduce waste, avoid overproduction, and grow thoughtfully without compromising on quality.

Plus at Thessaly, we follow principles of stewardship and sustainability. Rather than taking on debt to produce large batches of clothing, we create intentionally and responsibly. Pre-orders allow us to avoid borrowing (Romans 13:8, Proverbs 22:7), reduce waste, stay independent, and keep our fabrics truly clean, ethical, and non-toxic.

Q: Will more styles launch soon after?

Yes, we have several styles being developed and anticipate a successful launch and continued growth - Lord willing!

Q: What is the fabric made of?

All Eden Collection pieces are made from 100% GOTS-certified cotton with AZO-free dyes.

Q: Does the fabric have stretch?

It has natural stretch from the knit cotton fabric, but not the snap-back/high elasticity of spandex-blend garments.

Q: How should I choose my size?

We recommend reviewing the size chart on each product page. Our styles do run true to size, however, if you're between sizes and prefer a more relaxed fit, consider sizing up.

Q: Can I return pre-order items?

Please review our return/exchange policy here.

Q: Why are your prices higher than fast fashion?

Small-batch natural fiber production costs significantly more than mass-produced synthetic clothing. We prioritize better materials, ethical production, and thoughtful manufacturing over cutting corners. OEKO-TEX certifications and third-party testing also is a consideration when thinking about costs as well as using more expensive dyes that are non-toxic. All of these things play a crucial part.

Q: Why does fabric choice matter?

What touches your skin all day matters. We believe clothing should be made with the same care many women already apply to their food, skincare, and home products when making crunchy, toxin-free swaps.
